Antimony Oxide

Description

Antimony Oxide Sb₂O₃ or Antimony Trioxide Sb₂O₃, with purity 99.99% and 99.999%, also called antimony white, dissolves in aqueous solutions only with hydrolysis and slightly soluble in water. Antimony Oxide is a very fine white powder formed by vaporizing antimony metal in an oxidizing atmosphere. Antimony Oxide is mainly for the manufacturing of other antimony compounds, flame-retardant in plastics, rubber, paints, paper, textiles, and electronics , and as a clarifying agent for glass, an opacifier for porcelain and enamel, a white pigment for paint, and also used chiefly for electronic elements, light proof agent for white pigment, mordant and high purity reagent.
