High Purity Lead

Description

High Purity Lead Pb 5N 6N, is a soft, bluish silvery white metal and  face-centered cubic structure with atomic weight 207.2, density 11.34g/cm³ and melting point 327.5°C, which is insoluble in wafer, poor electrical conductivity and is easily oxidized by oxygen in the air to become black and form a compact layer of lead oxide film to prevent its further oxidation internally. High purity lead is an excellent superconductor at ultra-low temperature, and is possible to reach high level of 99.999% and 99.9999% purity by advanced electro-refining process and special purification techniques. High Purity Lead Pb 5N 6N at Western Minmetals (SC) Corporation with purity of 99.999% and 99.9999% can be delivered in size of lump, disc, granules, pellets, pieces, rod, ingot, sputtering target and crystal which is packed in composite aluminum bag with argon gas filled protection, carton box outside, or as customized specification to reach the perfect solution.

Applications

High Purity Lead finds wide application in the preparation of targets for thin film deposition, pellets for evaporation, advanced lead alloys, radiation shielding protection of atomic energy industry, storage battery pastes and for preparing thermoelectric couple components, as well as used in the manufacture of compound semiconductor, refrigerating element, infrared photoelectric converting device, high efficient thermo-element and solder etc.
