Sapphire Single Crystal Wafer & Ingot or Aluminum Oxide Al2O3 99.999% min, also known as the white stones, anisotropic hexagonal structure, is an excellent multi-purpose material with unique optical properties, physical properties and chemical properties, having extreme surface hardness, high thermal conductivity, high dielectric constant, excellent transparency and good chemical stability with resistance to common chemical acids and alkalis. Sapphire  Single Crystal or Aluminum Oxide single crystal  Al2O3 99.999% purity at Western Minmetals (SC) Corporation can be delivered in size of  diameter 2″, 4″ and 6″ (50mm, 100mm, 150mm) wafer and ingot, with surface finish in etched, polished or epi-ready process finishes. Applications

Because of its structural strength of the second hardest crystal next to diamonds, Sapphire crystal is widely used in the fabrication of single crystal substrate, superconducting film substrate material, blue, purple and white light emitting diodes LEDs,  high-temperature infrared window, and a blue laser LD Industrial preferred substrate. Single Crystal Sapphire or single crystal aluminum oxide Al2O3 is useful in a transmission range from 0.2-5.5 μm as well as in other advanced power semiconductors manufacturing industries.
