Tungsten Granule, also known as Tungsten flux, Tungsten accelerator, 99.5%, 99.9% and 99.95% purity, bright grey color and polyhedron granule, melting point 3410°C, boiling point 5900°C, density 19.3g/cm³, is processed by powder metallurgy technique to breaking forged sintered tungsten block into small irregular particles in size of 10-20, 20-40, 40-60 and 60-80mesh, which including powder pressing-sintering tungsten block-forging-machining-breaking repeatedly-sharp edge removing etc. Tungsten Granule with 99.5%, 99.90% and 99.95% purity at Western Minmetals (SC) Corporation is an extremely dense granulate with a low specific surface area and a narrow particle size distribution in package of 1kg or 2kg in plastic bag with 20kg carton box or iron drum outside, or as customized specification to reach the perfect solution.

Applications

Tungsten Granule, or Tungsten flux, Tungsten accelerator is mainly for the purpose in the analysis and determination of carbon and sulfur in steel, alloys and non-metallic materials by CS analyzer, where Tungsten granule as flux to be added to decrease boiling point of combustion and speed the emitting of carbon and sulfur effectively to improve measurement accuracy. High purity tungsten granule 99.95% is also essential in the analysis of high-frequency combustion infrared carbon and sulfur reagent, Tungsten flux is also extensively used as weight filler, radiation shielding filler, induction accelerator etc for its irregular shape and high density and as welding fitting for its electrode property.
