Description

High Purity Selenium Se 5N 6N or high purity oxygen free selenium is amorphous gray metallic luster solid material with atomic weight 78.89, density 4.81g/cm³ and  _{^{melting point 217°C, which is becoming black on standing and crystalline on heating, soluble in concentrated nitric acid and in common alkali, lower toxicity. Applications

High Purity Selenium Se or high purity oxygen free selenium is primarily used in the preparation of compound semiconductor materials such as antimony selenide Sb₂Se₃, arsenic selenide As₂Se₃, cadmium selenide CdSe, copper selenide CuSe, molybdenum selenide MoSe₂, tin selenide SnSe, tungsten selenide WSe₂, zinc selenide ZnSe and selenide sulfide SeS₂ etc base material. High purity selenium is selenium drum material, toner cartridge material, photoconductive and photovoltaic material, electrostatic photograph, infrared glass, and other materials for optical devices and instruments.
