Gadolinium Oxide Gd2O3 is widely used as yttrium aluminum and yttrium iron garnet additives, sensitized fluorescent materials of medical instruments, neutron absorber materials for nuclear reactor, raw material for gadolinium metal, Gd-Fe alloy, single substrate memory storage and inhibitor.
